We had looked at several other shepherds hut builders before coming across Stockman Shepherd Huts. We travelled to St Dogmaels to meet Emma and Paul and take a look at their latest project, which was almost complete. As soon as we saw the quality of Paul’s work and his acute attention to detail, the decision about which company to commission to make our shepherds hut was easy.
We wanted a bespoke hut and talked through our ideas (of which there were many) with Paul, who was quickly able to grasp our vision and what we were trying to achieve. He proved to be a great sounding board, his knowledge and expertise helped us consolidate our ideas into a firm plan. We particularly liked the way Paul would grab his pencil and draw a quick sketch to ensure that we were all still on the same page. Having said that, I did make a significant change about halfway through, but Paul just took this in his stride. Nothing seemed too much trouble for him.
We were kept informed and updated throughout. We received regular photo’s and email updates. Paul was always available on the phone and we were consulted on all aspects of the build. Their customer service is second to none!
The delivery arrangements were first class and the delivery process including the hi-ab lift was both professional and perfect.
We are absolutely delighted with our bespoke hut. It was made with exceptional craftsmanship and care. Its a high quality build for a fair price. We highly recommend Stockman Shepherd Huts.
